YE is Now Grace Youth Leaders Outreach
Yesterday I had a bad day. Oh well it’s ok. That shows we are humans, we have feelings. Doesn’t mean I put on a smile everyday in church shows that life is all well for me. No. I as a leader just know how our mood and “emo-ness” can affect greatly the people around us. I am also a human having a normal life yea. So if you are having a bad day, rid that sulky face off and put on something nicer. Doing this does not mean that we are not genuine yea. Just that if you are in that midst of many people, know that whatever face you put on will affect those around you.
‘Nuff said =)
Smile...
Today is going to be a good day. Because we have Grace Youth Leaders’ Outreach meeting later and GY Camp Committee meeting later at night at Carey Island! Seafood! Yummy!!! Woo hoo!!!
Big big announcement for you guys out there!
YOUTH ENERGY (YE) is now known as...
GRACE YOUTH LEADERS OUTREACH!!! GYLO is short =)
Why?
We are integrating our youths in Klang with those in Grace PJ and USJ. For a sense of oneness, togetherness and unity the specific youth groups will be known now as Grace Youth Klang, Grace Youth PJ and Grace Youth USJ. Isn’t it great? =D Yea I know, I am very used to the “YE” thingy too but we have to change already la. =)
2008 is the year of New Beginnings and New Trends in Taking Dominion!
GRACE YOUTH will go through a whole new beginning this year. We are looking for leaders who will dare to be rad (radical) and courageous enough to do things that have not been done before – all for the purpose of bringing the Gospel to all. We are looking for leaders who are willing to be chosen for many are called but only few are chosen. You are the one who chooses to be chosen! What does it matter then to you if you do not want to be that person of change? Well it matters to all. Even the devil! So you make the choice!
What you will do with the short lifespan of yours here on earth is your choice. If you want to continue living a jolly good life then by all means go ahead, the devil will be more than glad to have you bathing in the riches of the world than you bathing in the sorrow of knowing that many still do not know Christ.
Time is short. If you do not seek and press in to know your specific call in life, then you will miss it. Again, what does it matter if you miss it? Again I tell you – it matters! The fields are wide open. All yours in Christ Jesus. Go take dominion over the domains in which the devil is still the ruler.
Only people of change can make a change. Only people who have both their feet up in the air can make the difference. The world needs Christian radicals who dare to be different and dare to challenge the wrong.
We live in a world darkening day by day. Only those who know the light can bring light into this perishing world.

Blackout at Blook
Howdy people!!! =D
How has the New Year been so far for you? Mine was kind of nice. I am having a great time working at Blook in Aeon Mall, Bukit Tinggi. Let me share with you what happened on Saturday night.
Last Saturday I started work at 5.30pm after the youth meeting in church. Around 6pm the electricity when off awhile and came back on few minutes later. Only the shop lots in my row were affected, including the floor above me and below me. But the rest of Aeon was ok and unaffected by the blackout. Then after awhile the electricity went off again and came back a few minutes later. Ish! We lost a few customers because of that.
Then at 7pm sharp the electricity went off AGAIN for the third time! Ish we were so frustrated as it was a Saturday night and there were a lot of customers coming that time. But this time the electricity did not come back for almost 4hours!!! During those 4 hours of darkness and dim lightings we lost A LOT of customers as well as money. We could have earned about RM2000 you know. Yikes!
Then I was thinking in the dark…
How important it is to have electricity, in our case – light. Without light the customers could not see properly what they want to wear or try. The front was not very dark but the problem is the fitting room was in total darkness and no one could see anything, so the sales went down naturally.
We had to stay back until 11.30 before we could go home when the electricity came back on. This is because we could not close our shop’s door as it needed electricity! Gosh!
How important is electricity to you in your life?
Are we connected to the main power-point in our life or are we far from it?
Jesus says “I am the light of the world, whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.”
If we are walking in darkness we would have missed out on a lot of things. Like my customers who missed out on beautiful dresses and clothes when they walked in darkness and could not see well the clothes, we will too miss out on many things if we do not walk in the light.
Blook lost about RM2000 to RM3000 during the 4 hours of blackout. What are you losing during your lifetime of blackout?
It is now or never. Go back to the light.

Just A Thought...
I am in Blook now, working. No customer now and I was thinking deep about this year's church's theme - New Beginnings and New Trends in Taking Dominion.
Just a thought...
Why don't we start a NEW TREND in BLOGGING?
Blogging God instead of me, myself and I...
Ponder upon it...

New Year, New Happenings.
My apologies to all for failing to blog often nowadays...
I have been really really really really busy since GY Camp. I went to HELP College to find out about my course, went for job interviews and all. And I was and still am caught up with pretty many things. So sorry. I have a few devotion posts and thoughts i want to blog but I do not have the time. Moreover I do not have internet connection at home, yea I don't. I do all my blogging in church's office or the cyber cafe. Really. Pity me huh? Haha. Pray that my dad gets me internet connection at home alright.
Good news.
I wanted a Canon DSLR camera actually. And also a laptop because my computer is pretty outdated, ask Poh Leong, he knows. But I didn't want a laptop now, I am aiming more towards a better camera though mine is good enough. And guess what???!!!
My dad nought me a LAPTOP!!! Woo hoo!!! It is a really good one and one of the most advance now. Sometimes we do not get what we want but sometimes we get something better. This goes the same with God you know. We may ask God for something but do not get it. It may be because He plans to give us something way better and more useful.
Thank you all for giving me Christmas presents though I did not give anything back. I really really really do appreciate what I got from you guys. Lots of hugs and kisses and loves to you. Special thanks to the ones who gave me the pair of pink slippers =D *muax *hugs!
Another good news. Please do read on.
I had an interview to work in Blook boutique in the new Bukit Tinggi's Aeon Mall about 2 months back. The store supervisor Jane interviewed me and liked me. So we discuss my terms and conditions on working and she agreed I take Saturday off because I need to go for YE (hey I love you people in YE really) and Sunday morning to go church. So that was it, I had to wait till January the 3rd to start work.
And on Thursday I went for work. The place was good and my colleagues were really friendly and jovial. We could chit chat and joke when there was no customers and i LOVED it there (maybe because Blook is a girls' boutique and I am the ONLY guy working there haha). But then Jane told me the bad news - that Saturday I have to miss YE!!!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
When she told me that I straightaway said "Sorry then, I can't work here anymore." with NO HESITATION I told her that (though I was really sad inside because I wanted to work and get money). I took my stand for YE and God. Jane was upset too because she wanted me there as well because I could work and would make a good staff. I prayed.
Then my big boss came on Friday and suggested something good. Her name is Adeline and she is a Christian attending ACTS Church. She suggested I take Saturday 1pm to 5pm off so I could go YE and 5pm go work. And the 4 hours that i miss will be replaced on Friday 6.30pm to 10.30pm. And she agreed!!! THANK THE ALMIGHTY GOD!!!
Christians have benefits haha! =D
And I got a little pay-rise =)
So I get to work, I get to attend YE and I get to attend Sunday church as well!!! Praise God! But before that I really had quite a tough time because I wanted money as well as wanted to serve God and make my stand. Talking about putting aside selfish desires for God. God honored me as I took my stand for Him. Praise Him. All the earth praise Him!
So do come visit me at Blook ok? =) My next week's schedule goes like this:
Monday : 1.30pm - 10.30pm
Tuesday: 9.30pm -6.30pm
Wednesday: Off Day!
Thursday: 1.30pm - 10.30pm
Friday: Full Day
Saturday: 5.00pm - 10.30pm
Sunday: 1.30pm - 10.30pm
BLOOK BOUTIQUE sells formal wears as well as semi-formal and casual-formal wears. The dresses and jeans and skirts all are CHEAPER than places like Padini or Giordano. The quality is really good mind you. Blook has been in existence since 2001 and its first outlet is in Bangsar. I has currently 5 outlets in Malaysia. The stocks are all from Hong Kong. A really nice dress could fetch RM300 in Padini or Somerset Bay but in Blook it is only about RM130-RM200 at the same quality and beauty!
Support Blook! =D
Blessed New Year 2008 to all my lovable friends. God bless!!!
Continue to fix your eyes on Jesus because the moment you take your eyes off Him is the moment you lose all directions and sights.
