Sayonara, Yun Ling!
Amy Tham Yun Ling will be leaving her dear friends on Wednesday. She will be going off to Japan to study and ultimately will be staying there permanently. Those lives that she has left footprints on will be saddened by her absence. The years she have spent building friendships with the people around her are not wasted. She has been a really close friend to many of her classmates in Sri Lethia.
Last Saturday, five of us went out with Yun Ling to Sunway Pyramid and spent half a day with her (hopefully not for the last time). We had fun eating and eating and eating haha. She was snapping pictures all the way, this is the first time I ever came across a person who takes more pictures than me in one outing =) From this we I know that she values the friendships she has and she wants to capture the last few moments in pictures. The magic of photography is that it captures that smile, that laugh, that hug, that cheerful face, that priceless moment, that friendship… and it lasts till the end of time (or until you lose your files).
Yun Ling, if you are reading this, know that we will all miss you a lot especially your close friend Jolene whom you can spend hours after hours just chatting with her. She, and many more (including me) will miss your absence. Take care of yourself over there and bring back some (a lot) of souvenirs for us when you get back to Malaysia for a visit okay? Keep Jolene (if not all) in your memory always. We will see you soon. God bless and take care.
Sayonara, dear friend…
