Not Ready Yet

I AM NOT READY YET

I am not read yet,
Neither are you.
Though I’ve done so much,
There’s still much to do.

What I’ve been doing,
Everything that I’ve been working,
Is what would cause Solomon to be saying,
“Nothing but chasing after the wind.”

I did this, I did that, but yet,
I have not done what the Lord would want.

I gave my time to the church,
Or so I thought.
I gave and I served,
But insignificance is what they brought.

I’ve been doing what has been of second importance,
Putting aside what has been Commissioned.

I am not read yet,
Neither are you.
Though I’ve done so much,
There’s still much to do.

Matthew 28:19-20
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
