LISTEN TO YOUR HEART

I heard a faint voice from the distance
I thought it was just my imagination
But the voice kept calling, for an instance
it just gave me this mysterious sensation

I was hoping to see a visage
So I walked down the lonely passage
I peered into the silent darkness
But all my eyes could see was emptiness

I saw no one on my left or on my right
Not even a whisper or a shadow in sight
Just the same faint voice calling
I shouted, “Where are you? I’m coming!”

There was just something about that voice
That assured me I’ll have happiness and joy
I continued my journey towards it
I heard the voice calling out to me

From the darkness I suddenly saw a light
It came from a side lane by the street
So towards it I ran with all my might
But the light away it slowly creeps

Then another light appeared nearby
It emanates a kind of contentment
A contentment that I desired in life
But again it disappeared to my disappointment

Suddenly I realized I hear the voice no more
I turned around and knew I was lost
I was tired of running so I sat on the floor
I walked around and I knew I was lost

Trying to hear the voice I closed my eyes
Sat down in despair I cried
I was so deluded by the light
Nothing more I could do but sigh

I was a lonely vagabond
Wondering aimlessly all day long
Trying to find for a meaning to my life
For at the brink of destruction it lies

Again all around me my eyes only see emptiness
I was looking for something that brought my joy completeness
But what it is I don’t really know
There was something about that voice unknown

Locked up in a world where I was the only soul
Knowing I will live in sadness till I’m old
No aim in life no reason to live
Could just lay by the street and watch life slowly away it slips

There’s just something the voice promises
A life full of joy and happiness
Something that I have not had before
For I was just a lonely vagabond

At the very moment, the voice I heard again
I scudded towards it like the wind
Nothing could stop me, not even the pouring rain
To get to that voice I was determined

The voice got louder and louder
I knew I was getting nearer and nearer
My heart was jumping and racing
I knew I was getting out of this suffering

A bright light hit me and I was blinded
The “voice” spoke and a face appeared
He spoke with authority and power
Out of my mouth I shouted, “Savior!”

I recognized that voice that was Him
He was the One I turned my back on
And my whole life went dimmed
I’m sorry, “Against You I have wronged.”

“Where have you gone all this while?
Don’t you know I have been calling for you?
Even though you were stranded in the wild
I have never leave you nor forsaken you”

“Listen to your heart,
I have been knocking at your door real hard,
Come back to me my child,
Come back to me...... “
says the Lord.

Darkness once had me overwhelmed,
But now in the light peacefully I dwell...

Last Tuesday, 18th September was Shannon Pain (oops!) I mean Shannon Keng’s 17th birthday. She invited us to her house to have a small celebration. We had a whacky time there. She ordered Domino’s for us. We ate and ate and messed up her whole hall haha. We even got drunk drinking PEPSI! Yea, I mean drunk... See the pictures below and you will know =)

Shannon has a wonderful personality of her own. She may always be kind of hot-tempered but she has her cool-tempered side as well. When she wants things to be done, she means it! Be it your way or her way, as long as whatever she wants done is done. I am referring to the YE’s Newsletter here =)
She makes wonderful cards and writes nice poems.
Above all, she love her Lord Jesus.
Her soft side: After SPM she wants to go for visitations at old folks’ home.

That’s Shannon Keng Yue Hua. Love her or hate her you just have to love her.

All of us had a hangover that night. The rest of the night was not captured in pictures, the scene was too horrid. It was better left in the dark and not brought to the light. We decided to not tell the world what happened during that night. We will leave it to your wild imagination.
Bottom-line is: Say NO to Pepsi.

‘GOD’ FILES RESPONSE TO SENATOR’S LAWSUIT

God has apparently responded to the lawsuit filed by Omaha State Senator Ernie Chambers. And the filing seems to have “dropped” from heaven.

“This one miraculously appeared on the counter. It just all of a sudden was here, poof!” said John Friend, clerk of the Douglas County District Court of Omaha.

Signed by “God”, the response to the Senator’s lawsuits argues that the defendant (God) is immune from earthly laws and the court lacks jurisdiction (authority) over God.

“I created man and woman with free will and, next to the promise of immortal life, free will is my greatest gift to you,” according to the response by “God”.

Whoa! Looks like “God” replied to the lawsuit by Senator Ernie Chambers. According to the article, the filings suddenly appeared out of no where. We cannot confirm that this was a miracle but we must know that with God, all things are possible =)

The reply stated was a really good one. God has given us free will to choose and decide and act. And that is a gift. When we choose, decide and act in accordance to God’s will, things will go the way God wants it to be. But if we choose, decide and act in contrast to God’s will, things will definitely not go the way God intends.

This is my reply to the senator and everyone who blames God for the bad and unwanted happenings that happens in life:

SENATOR SUES GOD

Read The Star newspaper on the 19th September and you will find the most shocking and hilarious thing in your life. The Omaha State Senator is SUING GOD for causing untold death and horror and threatening to cause more.

State Senator Ernie Chambers sued God last week. Chambers says that he is trying to make the point that anyone can sue anyone.

Chambers said in his lawsuit that God has made terroristic threats against the senator and his constituents, inspired fear and caused “widespread death, destruction and terrorization of millions upon millions of the Earth’s inhabitants.”

The Senator often criticizes Christians and also said God has caused “fearsome floods... horrendous hurricanes, terrifying tornadoes.” and is seeking a permanent injunction against the Almighty.

Is this plain stupid or just laughable? This is the first time I heard of someone suing God. Well, I am not very surprised actually. We humans have been blaming God for everything bad since the beginning of time.

The Senator was enraged over another lawsuit filed by someone who ruled out the usage of the word “rape” and “victim” in a sexual assault case. He found that frivolous so he filed his own frivolous lawsuit against non other than God Himself.

Sometimes we can’t help but to wonder why does God allow all these to happen. If God is in control, then why are there earthquakes? Why are there killer hurricanes and tornadoes? Why are there floods? Why this? Why that? Why??!!

The greatest “natural” disaster that has happened was dated back to the beginning time of creation in the days of Noah. The Great Flood seemed to almost wipe out all of creation except for the family of one man named Noah and the animals that were brought on the ark. What was the reason for God to do such a “devastating” act?

Humankind has reached the maximum level of perversion tolerable by God. Read Genesis 6:1-6 for detailed information. God was moved to bring such a radical judgment on his creation because of man himself. So who can stand before God and ask Him why did He do what He did? God did not just wake up one day and said, “Oh! I think I want to destroy My creation. So I will send rain on earth and flood the whole earth.”

It was because of humanity’s corruption that caused God to do such a radical judgment on mankind.

But let us not worry because we do not live in the hands of God who would destroy all of creation because of His Divine Judgment. For God had made a covenant, an agreement with Noah in Genesis 9:8-17 that He will not destroy all earthly life with some natural catastrophe. The sign of the covenant is the rainbow in the storm cloud. So whenever we see the rainbow in the clouds we are remembered of God’s covenant with Noah.

But why are there still so many natural disasters going on? The world was shaken by the Tsunami that hit Indonesia in 2004 (or was it 2003? I kind of forgot.) and recently there was another tsunami. Earthquakes and hurricanes continue to take lives and destroy homes, why is this happening? I can not give you the answer for this. But I do know that the time is near, the time for the Second Coming is near.

We are in no right to get angry at God for His judgment. God’s judgment on mankind is a divine and Godly Judgment unlike human judgment who judges based on human knowledge and intuition. The verse below sums up everything I have to say in this post:

As for Senator Ernie Chambers, he will stand before the Almighty Judge one day, the very One whom he filed a lawsuit against. All of us will be in the heavenly court before God one day as well.

So prepare your defend... of which you have only one – Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

GOD is GOD and YOU are NOT.
