It's Sister Kim's Birthday again!!!Sister Kim's birthday fell on the 2nd June and Andy Gomes' birthday was on the 3rd of June.
At cell yesterday we celebrated both of their birthdays.
All the way from Singapore and Teluk Pulai was Gideon Tan Han Chung!!! Gideon came back from studying in Singapore for a week and I managed to get him to come over to cell yesterday night. Gideon and I planned a short magic performance for cell yesterday. He is into magic as well =)
We had a little Bible Quiz game and then we moved on to the sharing by Sister Kim. She shared on how we should sometimes just not listen to music and use that time to talk to God and converse with Him. In our daily lives we often listen to music almost 24/7 but it is important that we trade our music time to spend it with God.
Also we need to start our day right and end it right. Aisha said, "We must have a great beginning and a great ending to our daily lives." And we couldn't agree with her more. We should start our day with God and end it with God as well. Most of us start our day by listening to music and end it with music. Food for thought from cell yesterday...
After sharing we presented the cakes to Sister Kim and Andy. Gideon the Magician had a special candle planted in Sister Kim's cake. Sister Kim blew the candle, it fire went off. Then it was lighted again, Sister Kim was shocked, and she blew again. Again it went off and again the candle lighted up by magic =) Sister Kim blew and blew for 30 seconds or so then the candle finally decided to go off for good =) haha.
It was show time after everyone had their food and was sitting comfortably in the hall.
Gideon and I came up with a short 40 minutes magic-routine specially for Sister Kim and those at the cell. We took turn one after another to present our magic routines and they were entertained (I hope.. Haha)
