I have been thinking and thinking and putting my thoughts together.
We are looking for young leaders to rise up to take our place in the work of the ministry as we move on to other ministries for our age. Throughout camp I have been keeping an eye on a few particular leaders. All of them did a great job managing their team and doing all they could to win. The young leaders were filled with enthusiasm and energy. They have great potential in excelling. Some of the leaders were not the loud type but more of the quiet type; they too were filled with the spirit to lead. However I was wondering, “How many of them will stay on in the church in the coming days?...”
My desire is to see young leaders rising up to work with us and work with God. God is calling not for talents or skills but He is calling for the heart. God said to Samuel regarding David, “Do not consider his height or appearance for God does not look at the things man look at. Man looks at the outward appearance but God looks at the heart.”
I am glad that I got to confirm some of the things I saw in camp. From now onwards we will have our eyes on you and will be praying for you.
The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. There is a great need for hearts that are passionate. Stop fooling around in the world, there is nothing you can gain out of it. Even non-Christians know that there is nothing they can take with them when they die. This world is just a temporary residence where we are waiting for the transit to heaven (or hell). Whatever you do on earth will decide what you will get.
I will not urge you to do good because everyone thinks that by doing good they will go to heaven. That is a total baloney. I urge you to know Christ, take up your cross, deny yourself, follow Him and go to the ends of the earth. By doing all these I can guarantee that you will have completed the purpose God has for you in your life.
If you still want to go on living life the way you want. Go ahead. At the end of the day you will find that, “Everything is meaningless, like chasing after the wind.” Solomon in all his splendor, riches and fame, found that everything he has done and gained is meaningless.
Within each and everyone of us is the power to transform and trend-set the world. Even non-Christians have that. They have the ability to rule the world and to change the world the way they want it. The only thing that differs us from them is that we are Christians and we want to transform the world the way God wants it to be. And to do so, we need the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. The anointing of the Holy Spirit is the impartation of God’s ability and power on a yielded believer to will and to act according to God’s purpose.
Philippians 3:10-14
I want to know Christ… and press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
Matthew 4:19
“Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.”
Matthew 16:24
If anyone would come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me.
Acts 1:8
You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you and you will be My witness in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth.”
Matthew 28:19-20
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. And teaching them to obey everything I have taught you. And surely I will be with you always, until the ends of the age.
God will call his mighty warriors together one day. And these mighty warriors will cause a revolution in the world. Do you want to be counted among the mighty warriors…

Hey Zlwin!
Readin this post, all i can say is I'm glad tht there all still ppl out there who are really leading rightfully in the path of Jesus
Many leaders prob due to the influence of the world only crave fr the power and prestige tht comes as being a leader. They strive to cling on to everything, taking up as many task as possible so tht ppl will see tht they are 'dedicated' leaders and so tht their seniors would applaud them fr a job well done. All,for the wrong reasons,or you can say,the worldy reasons. And sadly, within the church too.
You dont knw hw glad I am to see this article of yours being posted cos it shows tht ur honest in ur committment to serve the Lord n tht is to do His will alone.
Raising leaders is exactly hw Jesus wants us to lead, many examples in the bible prove to tht, like the 12 disciples, the mentor-mentee leadership btwn Moses&Aaron,Elijah&Elisha.(Hey,you shud write a post on this mentor-mentee thing=)
I totally support you in observing n raising up leaders.Seek the Lord for His guidance too as only he knws our inner thoughts(Ps 94:11).
Keep up the good work!
