GY CAMP 2007'S SPEAKER

This is Pastor Henry K. Pillai. Senior pastor of Grace Assembly churches worldwide. He just celebrated his 61st birthday not too long ago. Good news is he will be Grace Youth Camp 2007's speaker! Woo hoo!!! Cheers!

For many out there who fear him, I tell you that you don't have to! Even a bit! Pastor Henry met up with the young adults and youth leaders few months back and he told us that he is kind of sad to know that many of the young people (whom he loves) is afraid of him. We could almost see tears in his eyes... haha no la, just joking. But yea, he was upset at the mindset the young people has about him. So he told us not to be scared to approach him or anything. Pastor Henry is a really nice guy and he really has a heart that goes out to the youths.

On the decision of GY Camp 2007's theme which is D.I.E. , a few of the leaders weren't quite happy with the theme so they brought it up to Pastor Henry. Then Pastor Henry told them that it is okay for the youths to have that theme and told not to underestimate the youths' creativity. (quoting from Hwai Tah, GY Camp 2007's Chairman)

So let us be excited for this coming camp! Pastor Henry has given up his time to come and be with the youths this year, it is not always we could have our senior pastor to come for our camp because he has to go on worldwide missions fulfilling the Great Commission of Jesus. We are privileged to have a wonderful father figure to be with us this time.

Now get ready to "bodek" Pastor Henry for GY Currencies muahaha! I am sure he is a generous man =)
