BLESSED 18th BIRTHDAY SU LING!!!
Last night at Sister Kim’s Cell Group gathering we celebrated Su Ling’s 18th Birthday =)
Those who were at the cell were Su Ling, Sister Kim, Jian Quin, Alexander from Sabah (yes, he’s back in Klang for a while), Joshua, Jonathan Tan, Tan Aisha and me.
We bought a Chocolate Fudge cake for her and Sister Kim ordered Domino’s Pizza! =) Yummy! In Sister Kim’s house we can never get away from eating Domino’s. She always orders pizza for us on and off and especially during special celebration. What a generous lady she is. Love her =)
Su Ling is a really inspiring young lady. There was once incident that I will never forget. A few years ago when I was singing in the worship team, Dinash fetched me to her house in the morning to pick her up. But her mother told us to come in first because Su Ling was not ready. So we got in and her mum explained to us that Su Ling was doing her devotion and she does her devotion every morning and night. I was stunned… That time I was still a young Christian and I didn’t know that there are actually these kind of people who would spend their time doing devotion because reading the Bible was boring for me that time haha. So I was really inspired by her to do my devotion as well.
Until today she tells us that she never fails to read her Bible before bed and after waking up everyday.
This is a discipline that we should do. Spending time with God must be our utmost priority.
Su Ling, continue to inspire people with your perseverance and faith in God. You have been faithful since the day I first saw you and I pray you will be for the rest of your life.
God bless you, sister.
Jian Quin, Aisha and Su Ling.
