2 Chronicles 7:14If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and will heal their land.
Like food the body, prayer is spiritual food to the spiritual body. Like how our body gets weak and eventually break down, without prayer, our spiritual body will breakdown as well.
What do we pray for? There are no ends to prayer. We can pray for anything and pray about anything. I will not spend time teaching you the fundamentals on prayer. You should know by now how what prayer does. A famous Christian author wrote, “Prayer is like a missile that can reach someone thousand of miles away.”
Can we see that out land is in turmoil? Are we able to see what will happen to this nation in 5 years’ time? Are we able to change everything? No we are not, but God is able.
We Christians must spend a lot of time praying for this nation. But prayer alone is not enough. We need to rise up and do something. We need to take action as well. But let us start with prayer. How often do we pray for our nation with a sincere heart and how often do we pray for our benefit alone? We must get serious.
We must also pray for the youths in this nation. The youths are the ones with all the potential and energy to cause change with their radical personality. Once a youth is determine to do something, no one can stop him. He will go all the way to gather people for his cause. That is how powerful and potential a youth is. One that is radical for God can do great things with God. Not by might nor by power but by the Spirit of God.
The sad thing I see is the youths are not doing anything. The Christian youths nowadays place God far away in their lives. So will you join me in prayer and pray for the youths of this church, city, nation...? We want to see a generation of young ones who drools to be ministers of God, who drools to be pastors, teachers, evangelists, apostles and prophets! We need to pray that God put hunger and appetite in their heart for Godly ambitions.
You can’t do much on your own. But by prayer and with the help of God, no one can stop you.

Those who are not from Grace Assembly, I encourage you to start a prayer group in your respective churches and start praying for the youths of your church. Those with passion and fire; spread them through prayer. Send burning flames and zealous passion to the youths in your church through your prayers and believe God to do something.
