“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord.
The promise God gave to Jeremiah in Jeremiah 29:11-14 is not only directed to Jeremiah alone but also to all Christians. People asks, “If God has a future and great plans for us then why are still so many Christians having such a bad life? Why is my friend’s family so wrecked although all of them are Christians?”
So is it God’s plan for a married couple to divorce and have the whole family torn apart? Is it God’s plan for my dad not to have a stable job and do not earn enough to even feed himself? These questions are frequently thrown around.
Is it in God’s will and plan for me to have a wrecked life?
There are two replies you may reply to this question: YES and NO.
Referring back to Jeremiah 29:11, it is of a certainty that the answer is a NO. God has a plan for you, a plan to prosper you and not to harm you, a plan for a good future. So what’s up with so many people? Why are their lives so wrecked?
You know, God gave us the power to choose.
It is up to you and you alone to choose how you would want to live your life.
THE CHOICE IS YOURS...
A person that knows he has a future planned out perfectly by God would not even think of getting into drugs. He would not think of destroying his life but will be careful to do what is right. He would take good care of his life, why? Because he knows he has a future. He sees ahead and knows; therefore he will do everything that is necessary in order not to destroy his life.
But for one that lives his life “Que Sara Sara. Whatever will be will be...” will not think of taking good care of himself. He would not think twice id his friends ask him to try drugs, or cigarette, or alcohol. He would not care if what he does or chooses to do will destroy his life or not.
So once again, the choice is yours...
Now you know God has a good future for you, what will you do?
GIVE UP...
What?! Give up?! Huh?!
Yea, just give up...
You have LOST!
He knows your future! He knows your thoughts! He knows your actions! He knows everything about you!
HE KNOWS YOU! HE KNOWS EVERYTHING!
You have LOST, it is time to just give up!
Give up your trust, give up your faith in self, give up your hope in self, give up your future plans, give up your bad habits, give up your sinful nature,
Give up your LIFE...
