Hey people!

I AM BACK!!!

Metamorphosis Camp 2007 was a BLAST!!! Gosh! I am having mixed feelings now. I am really happy and at the same time really sad. I miss the people at camp, especially my group members whom I won’t be seeing for quite some time...
Here’s a short review about Camp Meta 2007:

One the first day, we left for NUBE Campsite (not NUDE yea) in Port Dickson. Reached there and had briefing and all. Met my group members:

Lim Ai Vy my beautiful assistant (gosh, why do I always have a beautiful girl as my assistant hehe)
Jonathan Kok my faithful companion
Tan Ai Sha our group’s loud hailer (she’s a great girl)
Matthew Tan
Lim Teck Hoong
Chia Wei Sheng
Khoo Kok Keong
Tee Kian Wei
Wong Zun Yin

and I am glad to say that FOUR of my group members accepted Christ!!! They are Lim Teck Hoong, Chia Wei Sheng, Tee Kian Wei and Wong Zun Yin. Praise the Lord!!! Woo Hoo!!!

We decided to name our group Red Dudes cause we were in the red color team. The reason we chose it was because when you think of the color red, you think about the blood Jesus shed for us. The blood that He had to shed to save us from our sins. So when you think about the color red, you think about Jesus!

The other groups came up with funny and weird names, the best name was Ang Tau Chui haha. The group leader is Bernie, he is an awesome dude!

and two more names... argh... how could I forget... nevermind, I will update you people later =) with more pictures, yes I mean MORE!

Had an awesome time, Pastor Andy was just great. He connects well with the youths and was able to get our attentions during his sermon time. The message he shared was really God-given and it touched many hearts. Will update you guys on his message too.

Okay I am going to skip quite a little here. On the last day, which was yesterday, I sat down with all my group members and had a talk with them. And before I could say 10 words, tears just came flowing down my eyes and it just wouldn’t stop. I was really touched by all of them. I had been a group leader for many camps and other occasions but never once was I as touched as this group I had. I don’t mean to say that I don’t love you guys who had been in my group before. But this group was just so very different, they helped a lot. They never gave up although we were lacking behind so much. Ai Sha and Teck Hoong was so on fire to get Meta Ringgits on the last day even though they knew our chances of winning weren’t big. They cooperated during the skit and were willing to take up any roles I gave them. I just love all of them; they were just an awesome bunch of people. I shared with them my feelings and prayed with them. I prayed with words and tears and I could tell you without doubt that I love each and every one of them a lot! What a mark they had put in my heart in just four days. Ai Vy, Jon, Matthew, Ai Sha, Wei Sheng, Teck Hoong, Kok Keong, Kian Wei and Zun Yin, I LOVE YOU!!!
Gosh, I better stop talking about them cause I can feel that tears are starting to flow out again haha.

I will update about Meta Camp soon. I took lots of pictures with Fiona’s camera. And yes, I mean LOTS of PICTURES!!! I would love to thank you Fiona for lending me your camera and allowing me to brush up on my photography skills.
