Blessed Good Friday Everyone!!!

Yea today is Good Friday. Let me tell you what this day is about. Good Friday is the day Christians commemorate Jesus’ death. Christians celebrate this day in remembrance of Christ suffering on the cross for our sins.

But why would we celebrate someone’s death and why would we be so “mean” to name the day as “Good” when someone actually died?!!

This is why. It is because of Christ’s death on the cross that we are able to gain salvation. It is because of Christ’s death that we are able to celebrate day. However, Jesus did not die! I repeat, Jesus did not die! He conquered death and its power and He rose on the third day and now He is seated in heaven.

Jesus is ALIVE!!!

That gives us all the more reasons to call this day GOOD and to celebrate it!

Let’s forget Easter Bunny!
I HATE EASTER BUNNY!!!

EASTER BUNNY has been around for a very very long time and it has STOLEN the meaning of EASTER like how SANTA CLAUSE has stolen CHRISTMAS!

Easter is the day we remember and celebrate Jesus’ triumphant victory over death! It is the day we celebrate the RESURRECTION of the CHRIST. It is not a day where we celebrate the silly and unruly Easter Bunny!

Don’t have to waste your money and buy me nice chocolate-shaped eggs alright. All I ever wanted I have already had it and no one can give it to me except Jesus. I have SALVATION.

All I want for Easter is Jesus.


Go beyond the Bunny and you will see the reason for this celebration.
Jesus is the Reason.

Romans 3:10
As it is written: “There is no one righteous, not even one.”

Romans 5:12
Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned.

Romans 3:23
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 10:9-10
That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

A note:
Jesus did not die on this day as many assume. We do not know exactly when Jesus died. We celebrate Good Friday as a remembrance. It does not mean that Jesus died on Friday.
