Hey people!

Last Saturday, 14th April, was Youth Energy's EASTER PARTY day!!! Woo hoo!!!

Well we did a lot of crazy stuff with eggs haha. Larry shared a message about Easter. The main message was this:

EASTER IS NOT ABOUT BUNNIES OR EGGS!!!

Go beyond the Bunny and Eggs and you will see something more wonderful about Easter Day. Easter is the day Christians commemorate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ died for our sins on the cross. But death could not get a hold on Him. He rose again on the third day. And Easter is celebrated to remember Christ's resurrection.

A few Scriptures for you people:

Romans 3:10
As it is written:
"There is no one righteous, not even one."

Romans 5:12
Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned.
Romans 3:23
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Romans 5:8
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this:
While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 6:23
For the wages (result) of sin is death,
but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 10:9-10
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Fir it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

So yea, this is it. Let me get it straight once and for all. Easter is not about eggs and bunnies yea =)
It is ALL ABOUT JESUS!!!
